The Galaxy Keeper

He is older than humankind, he is Immortal and he in almost omnipotent

He is not a God, but he has vast intelligence and power. He the Emperor of the Galaxy and his primary mission is to maintain peace. He has the technology and the capability to exterminate any species that he deems to be a threat to that peace. He has just learned about the human race.

He was created by an ancient species who called themselves the Valtorians, and who once ruled over the entire galaxy. He was their ultimate achievement. He was created to manage the galaxy and rule over all creatures on their behalf. He considers his creators to be the Gods, and their instructions to be consummate.

He rules over a society of priests, guards and workers called the Beltarians. They worship the Valtorians as Gods and perform all the tasks required to maintain the galaxy on the Valtorians behalf. The Valtorians are no longer here. They left long ago for other parts of the universe and have not been heard from for a long time. The Emperor and the Beltarians consider it their sacred duty to maintain peace and order, as they define it, for the day the Gods return.

While exploring the frontier of known space, Alpha Team Eleven stumbles upon a huge Crystal Pyramid on a moon in the system of a distant star. It is more than they realize; it is a portal to the transportation system that the Valtorians built to teleport themselves and their servants across the stars. It is the gateway to Beltaria, the home of the Emperor.

The course of human destiny has now been changed forever. They have met the Galaxy Keeper and the fate of mankind is in his hands.
